1994 Subaru Impreza WRX STI RA (V1) For Sale - new pics added!
Subaru Impreza WRX STI RA V1 For Sale.
This is a genuine first of the production run, often referred to as an STI RA (V1). It’s a 1994 car built to order between Nov 1994 & Aug 1995 (only 50 were built each month)VIN GC847D confirms this. Its finished in Feather White (230) and is in truly excellent original overall condition for a 20 year old car. This is a genuine sale due to a change of circumstances otherwise we would be keeping this car.
Rather than list all the features, May i suggest you have a look at the link provided as this will give all the information. http://www.type-ra.com/subaru-imprez...sti-version-1/
The ‘RA’ stands for RACE ALTERED (some might argue ‘Rally Altered’), its lightweight and geared for acceleration and built to handle well, with 280+ BHP it is brisk to say the least and is one of the first Subaru’s to be fitted with the DCCD system allowing the power ratio to be adjusted by the driver between the front and rear wheels.
On top of this impressive standard factory spec this particular car came with A/C. It is also fitted with methanol injection & a Toyosports 3” turbo back exhaust system which gives a deep rumble to the flat-four boxer engine, a ‘bung’ is available if this is just a little too loud for some tastes and the suspension has been upgraded to a Potenza (Jap Eibach) setup and has recently been professionally re-waxoyled to protect the underside for the elements , otherwise the car is as it left the factory 20 years ago. The interior is like new, no rips or marks.
The car has covered 80,000 km's and has recently had a full service and comes with 12 months MOT. The engine and drive train are in excellent health, its pulls cleanly and like a train, the gearbox is slick and the DCCD system works perfectly. The car has just recently come from the bodyshop and has had a few small rust patches sorted including the rear arches which where not bad, but have been properly and professionally repaired to the highest standards, as i said we planned on keeping the car so all work was done properly by trusted professionals. For security our car is fitted with a Tracker and Thatcham rated alarm.
Happy to answer any questions, not looking for silly offers or swaps, will consider shipping aboard (once funds have cleared) at the buyers cost. Any inspection is welcome & test drives fine as long as you have a valid UK drivers licence and proof of insurance.
It's a difficult car to value as we could not find another V1 sold in the UK in the last 12 months.
£5950.00 ovno

£7.5k and you couldn't even hoover the floor mats?
I know they are going up in value but I would have thought £7.5k is more in keeping with a 50k example.
Not knocking as it is a lovely motor and one of my all time favourite Imprezas.

You really need to get the advert right chap, there are a few mistakes. The sort of person who will buy this car will know their stuff and these little points will put them off.
The colour code is wrong,
RA stands for Race Altered not Rally,
Methanol injection wasn't a factory feature, the 5th injector is redundant,
The mileage is wrong.
You really need to correct these and then detail the car and get some decent pictures.

***Update*** Have adjusted price due to feedback and hopefully corrected the errors in the ad.
It's a difficult car to value as we could not find another V1 sold in the UK in the last 12 months. Price is negotiable.
Priced at £6250.00 ono - it's negotiable.
