What stuff did you use to get the red around the grille?

Also did you attempt the red inside the headlight

Looks a cracking job

Steve I used red pinstriping tape from ebay around the grilles:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Red-6MM-PI...item3a85fc5de1

It takes a bit of patience but worth the effort and quite an easy job and that's coming from a hamfisted character like me! I just followed a guide from NASIOC here:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ighlight=grill

Cheapest mod I ever did to the car! About £3

The headlights I did myself and it was a pain - but only because I am not the most artistic. Once you have split the headlights (I put mine in the oven first to soften the sealant) - I followed the guide here:

https://www.scoobynet.com/lighting-a...ification.html

Then painting the reflector was pretty straightforward. You have to paint the ring first and mask everything else off. Very light coats. Once it is bone dry (I left it overnight in a warm place) then mask the red painted ring off and paint the rest matt or satin black - I used Hycote acrylic paints.

Marietto, those are super cool wheels,as is the car. Would they fit on a 2001 bugeye and what tyres are they wrapped in.

Hello bud - the wheels were 5 x 114.3 PCD so Hawkeye STI or Widetrack Blob STI onwards, but you can definitely get them in 5 x 100 PCD for your Bug - but I think 8 inch wide is all they do in that PCD - could be wrong though? If you go to Driftworks website you should be able to see them there: http://www.driftworks.com/

The tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 (225x40x18)
