The Spec C 4 1/2 years on...
I've been lucky enough to own my Spec C from 'new'.

It’s had a fair few changes... (Mostly underneath
)
It's my daily drive and gets used for work, the odd school run and the Nurburgring
Here's some pictures of a few of the changes I've made...
New style AP's with fully floating discs and Speedline Turini's.
KW Clubsport's with some custom made rear extenders.
Recaro Pole Position ABE seats with custom mounts.
At the 'ring.
After a bit of a clean
It's a fine line to have a car that you can use every day and then take to the track and I feel for my requirements now, it's just about the perfect compromise.
It hasn't come easy and it's been a bit of a journey but I think the trick is knowing when to stop.

It has a Milltek exhaust, Zircotec ceramic coating, STI panel filter and remap. Also has an RCM track attack catch tank and RCM baffled sump.
I did used to live in Norway but moved back last year. I was lucky enough to have the car with me over there and it was indeed great fun on the snow with proper snow tyres

The AP's, like the seats are something I wished I'd done the first day I got it.
Big difference in performance and provide so much confidence in the car.
No poly bushes...
I've used the STI pillow ball lateral links & trailing arms in the rear along with the STI 21mm anti roll bar & drop links from the RA-R.
In the front I've used RCM pillow ***** for the front wishbones and the STI 21mm anti roll bar.

I like the choice of modifications, where it all matters, i.e. suspension mainly

Although they're the Cusco ones Fitted in the rear hub.
The seats are great! I can't fault them.
Better on long journeys, more comfortable, much better support, massively improved driving position and still retain OE fore and aft adjustment and OE 3 point seat belt.

The RCM pillow ***** are pillow ball bushes for the front wishbones (2 per side) not the ball joints.
They look like theses ones..
Although they're the Cusco ones Fitted in the rear hub.
The seats are great! I can't fault them.
Better on long journeys, more comfortable, much better support, massively improved driving position and still retain OE fore and aft adjustment and OE 3 point seat belt.

I see that you use a CGLock, does the seatbelt slide freely and lock you in place without it?

The fronts improve steering feel and turn in although it's more of a subtle difference than the rear links. The steering feels very direct.
I've actually removed the CG locks as I don't think they're necessary any more with the Recaros but they do work well
The Pole Positions are sat approx 3" lower than the OE seats and make for a much better driving position.

You don't often see people focusing on the essentials and enjoying the car.
Perfect choice of mods, I like the fact that it seems to be a perfect "compromise" between an occasional track day car as well as an every day car.

Some questions.
- How much lower roughly do the recaros seat you?
I was just 1 week too late to get a new set of the RA-R recaros. They are no longer in production, and i'm considering getting a set of recaros as well. But it's gotta be all black like yours. Was considering getting the RS-G which is basically the same seat as the RA-R optional recaros except it doesn't have the STI badge.
- From the pics, it appears the shoulder bolster area doesn't quite clear the B pillar? Or does it?
What size and offset are those Turinis? I couldn't find them in 8.5" x 18".

The Recaro's can be made to sit pretty much where ever you like.
I used Buddy Club seat rails with some custom side mounts and they currently sit approximately 3" lower.
Shoulder bolster clears
Turini's are 18x8 ET48 but you can also get 18x8.5 ET52 if you'd rather
