Cheap Dash Cam for track days - Any suggestions
Just want something cheap and cheerful that will do for a few you tube vids and for me to look at my lines.
There are loads of them on flea Bay here -

Have any of you lot got anything you have tried that seems to be good value for money.
Or are all of these cheap for a reason!

I got one of these at the start of the year. It does the job nicely.
I will post a vid from the camera in a minute, just waiting for it to change format to play on here.

I think the older one (white face?) around £45 ish with full kit.
But they don't say how much memory is supplied.
Can you charge via cig lighter instead of taking battery off to charge or hard wire so constant live feed?
Is it push button record or record from when engine is on or moving? How long does battery last if not plugged in etc.
Sorry a lot of Qs I know.

I just googled and it's a wifi, must be the latest version, around £70 with everything.

I use a Mobius and think very highly of it.
A review of it is here:

Ah Mayan! Can't you get as a full kit, looks cool that. Just can't be bothered buying separate bits incase it don't fit.
I'll bang it in my watch list and later I'll look into mount and car charger.
It comes with USB charger so couldn't I just get a car USB socket thingy?

The new Go-Pro came out fairly recently for £99 from places like Halfords.
It's had some features removed but still records brilliant video for a very decent price IMHO.

Not the cheapest but it does benefit from all of the stands and accessories and produces great video.
