More info about the car. Is the alarm/immobiliser the OEM or an aftermarket? You may have to get an Alarm installer out to fix it.

Completely standard engine , I'm going to put it into the garage I think, if I play around I'll only make what ever it is worse

the alarm is going off due to battery being completely flat. you need a new battery me thinks. the alarm thinks power has been cut so triggers via back up battery in siren

That's your answer right there ^^^

I had the same problem earlier in the year due to a crappy
Chinese head unit which drained the battery. If you can jump
start it and drive it a while to get some power into the battery
then try and find out what's causing the drain.

Good luck.

Sometimes in the winter months healthy batteries can just go flat overnight. Get it bumped off and taken for a good run before replacing.

I agree with the battery. My Uncle is the US had a 2.5 Impreza outback sport auto, and when we went to fill it up and get back in the car went into a crazy cycle of setting the alarm off, illuminating all dials and starting the radio which lasted for about 10 mins until completely died. Got a jump and replaced the battery didn't happen again.
