Overfueling, constanf 1500 RPM Idle issue
Got the scoob all up and running.
it's a 99 V5 STI with ecuteked ecu.
Only additional mods since mapping, parallel fuel rails, FPR, Silicone inlet pipe.Standard DV
It's idling constantly at 1500 RPM, no fluctuation's or cutting out. no vac leaks
It's badly over fueling. absolutely stink's.
Cleaned out ICV, O ring in good nick, TPS reset into correct position.
Throttle body and cable cleaned and correctly tensioned
There's a check engine light on, run the codes it's showing clear.
I've removed the alternator as that's nackered
Battery light is on also :/
Any idea what could be causing these problems

Certainly won't make it idle this rich and rev to 1500 rpm

Fuel pressure is sitting at 43 - 45 PSI at idle with vac hose off.
It's the same dump valve as was on before.
same size injector's but different good condition ones
TPS i've reset back to the original position screws are tight. If i move it "towards" me , the idle raises. it wont go any further "down"
Got a replacement ICV and lambda to try tonight

different although same size injectors may flow a little different. what was fuel pressure at last mapping. its at around 3bar now. which is standard. if its raised a little then it will alter fuelling

Injectors can make a big difference, but at 1500 rpm you have an air leak I suspect, did you remove the inlet manifold to change fuel rails, and did you replace the seals and gaskets ?
lot of changes there and it will all make a difference
cheers

The inlet manifold was removed. New inlet gaskets, throttle body gasket.
Injector's originally in had a bit of a problem with over fueling, was leaking a lot into the engine till it poured out the exhaust manifold. hence why i replaced them.
As Simon's taken a break from mapping for various reason's, how much would it be for a Ecutek map check etc, Up here in aberdeen

Aye the O-ring's were shafted on them. could of also been stuck open.
Had enough trying to solve it myself with limited knowledge. There's fuel still being way to excessive. going to book it into a garage and hopefully let them diagnose / sort it for me.
Rather let a more knowledgeable outfit take it and diagnose the fault without causing potentially some serious damage
