Has anybody tried there stuff and if so which one and how good ?

Been down the WW and autoglym route but always disappointed with the swirls on a DBM in deep sunshine.

Thumbs up

I bought their "Ultimate Gold" stuff in america.
Excellent wax...really does leave a mirror shine and lasts 3-4weeks easily.
Suprisingly easy to buff off as well

Demon tweeks supply most of Meguiars products, next day delivery @ £7.41. I bought a few bits to make the postage seem worthwhile though.

I was using the Meguiars gold class products for quite a while and they are great. I bought quite a bit of it from OZ and brought it with me to Greece cos you can't get it here. I still have 2 and a half bottles of Gold class wax, 2 bottles of Scratch X and one bottle of Gold class prep and swirl remover, plus their chamois, terry cotton towels and wax applicator pads

Then I found this bbs about a year and a half ago and everyone was going on about how good the Wax Wizard products were, so around one month ago I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about this stuff. I decided to give the Wax Wizard a go and found it to be quite a bit better than the Meguiars. Now I'll use Wax Wizard on my scoob and the Meguiars on my Kia. I did give the Kia the Wax Wizard treament and it came out beautiful, however I will use the Meguiars stuff on it so as I finish them and they don't go to waste.

The colour on the scoob came up deeper, it's sonic blue and there was quite a bit more shine to the car as well. Same with the Kia which is in DBM colour.

The Meguiars is great and you can't go wrong with it but IMHO the Wax Wizard products are better.

Cheers,

Wrexy.

DemonDave,

Just noticed. Did the WW products give you swirl marks? Which products did you use?

Cheers,

Wrexy.

As I do not use abrasives or silicones or solvent I find it hard to see that WW gives you swirl marks. It woul;d appear that the swirls were already there and that you need to remove these. It is quite simple but you need to allow time and some elbow grease.

You need to allow around 4 hrs to prepare the paint before you wax.

Maybe you need me to get them out for you! And to show you how its done?

Mark,

By swirl marks I mean the smears you see in the deep sunshine. They do disappear with cleanse 1, but are there with cleanse 2 and the wax. I was tempted just to keep reusing cleanse 1 !!!

Time and elbow grease used.

Quite happy for you to come and show, but I to be sure that the sun won't show any smears and need a repeatable process that won;t take 4 hours each weekend !!!!

To anybody else ... I had not problems with the WW stuff at all, Its just my car and my picky nature !!!

Dave

I get that as well with the WW Merlin Wax and/or the acrylic paint protector, glad it's not only me! You can only see it when there is direct strong sun on the car.
