Hi all!
Was driving home tonight when all of a sudden a loud clanking noise appeared from the engine. I pulled over immediately, looked at the engine, no obvious signs so called a mate who thinks the big end bearings could have gone! So if you saw an RB5 on the back of a low loader this evening, coming out of London down the A23 then on the M23 into Crawley, i must confess, twas me!
It is being taken to the dealer at Gatwick in the morning and will hopefully be covered by the warranty that i was given with it!!
