Ah so someone can set the odometer to my mileage if I got a UK set? can they also set it to miles covered instead of km? I can't find any one that does it

yes its possible and I'd say by far the best option.
personally I wouldn't even bother, make a note of what the new mileage is on installation and keep old clocks for reference on changeover,obviously may be an issue mot time but you can swap old clocks back for that.

Just bought a standard UK set on ebay, it's on 65k and mine has done 66k (107 in km) maybe a silly question but will the odometer count in miles now or km? do I need to install a converter somewhere?
