I am looking at buying a '98 Impreza Turbo and just need advice in general on the car. I know nothing about Imprezas: What are the service intervals?, Do engines need rebuilding at high mileage?, do turbos need replacing after 40,000 miles?
Any advice would be much appreciated on any aspect of ownership.

Do the UK spec Imprezas have air con?

Aircon was an option on UK Impreza's ....Looks out side...Hmmm glad ive gor aircon
As for servce intervals, its every 7,500 or 6 months every other service is just a small one (oil filter and inspections)and the other is a largish one with air filter plugs ect
Can belt need changing at 45k and it aint cheep so make sure its been done or get them to do it for you if you can.
