Did the cel flash at a constant pace? And did you unplug the blocks after the reset procedure?
Are you using the black only connectors to read faults, and both black and green to reset?

Try the reset procedure again and once it starts flashing to say reset is done then switch car off and unplug both blocks. Did you hear the fans come on and the solenoid clicking when you started the reset?

Yes it all came on and off as it should. Iv now done the reset 3 times and still have flashing engine light. Car runs fine. Would it damage my car any if I just left it until I got it to a garage ?

Have you plugged just the black connectors and counted the flashes to see if it gives you a fault code?

You will probably have this info anyway, long flashes for 10's short flashes for 1's and a longer flash in between for multiple faults. The constant quick flash means no faults. If you have both the blocks disconnected then it shouldn't be flashing unless you have faults or you ecu is caput. Try leaving the battery disconnected for a few hours. If it's still flashing then I'm out of ideas. Drive it very steady until you can get it looked at. Or maybe another member might have some info on this?
Just one more thing,is it the standard ecu? Does it have the ESL or any other chip/board installed?
