Do you mean 2nd column?
If so, it's to notify people browsing that it's a warning eg. "I've been scammed ....".

Frowns = bad news etc.

In the circumstances (I'll jump in again) I'd say it's a sort of permanent bump.
As stated Subaru technician, and I can say that car's been well looked after.

If I were in the market for one (any scooby) around that budget I wouldn't hesitate (year or so early for me to sell mine tho').
