Default 02-05 centre console swap

Looking at swapping the centre console from a 05 blob eye /or hawk into my blob wrx wagon does any one know if it's possible or done it?

Yes mate you need the centre console, rear large bracket that mounts to the bulkhead, handbrake and centre cubby box, They seem to go as complete kits for between £100-£150 takes a couple of hours to do.

If you get stuck gimme a shout ill help ya out

to be honest guys its a very easy conversion, it didnt take me long to do at all. Im sure there is a how too guide somewhere, failing that gimme a shout when your ready and ill send you my mob no and help talk you through it if you get stuck.

Quick question , did you need a to use a new handbrake lever or do you use original one?

if you are fitting the hawk centre box then you have to use the hawk handbrake or it wont fit in the trim, did you keep your blob box section as well then?

Nope i dont full conversion, just not the handbrake.

Fair enough, not sure how as they are physically different handbrakes and I tried and it wouldnt line up. but fair play mate

Off topic zxtt (sorry op) but it looks like you had your rear seat retrimmed to match the sti fronts, I'd like to get mine done, did you use the sti rear seat fabric or was a complete retrim required. Thanks.

Nope mine is a genuine STI 7 Wagon interior mate so rears still fold down.

WRX mate but with what I've done to her she is a lot better spec then the standard sti wagons which are like rocking horse poo to find.

I hear you man, mines pretty much at that stage now, just the engine to go and a rear seat retrim of course!
