Good Bodyshop Guide?
Hi All,
Just wanted to check as this may already exist but perhaps I've just missed it, but do we have some sort of good bodyshop thread or similar on the go?
With many classics, bugs and others now on the verge of restoration rather than front end resprays and the like, I've been thinking we really should have something that we can build up to act as a guide for genuinely good bodyshops experienced in Subarus or the sort of repairs our cars are starting to need, which in many cases requires a skilled hand in metalwork and rust prevention, which I imagine is a dying art for many bodyshops these days.
There's enough people who've had sills or rear arches replaced now, so we should have members who can provide good feedback and details of the bodyshops in question. Though I'd say a recommendation needs to feature pictures and come directly from the owner who had the work done, to avoid 3rd or 4th party reports claiming someone is good or people bigging up their mates garages who may not be up to scratch. This should also mean we get good clear feedback on the customer service provided, the length of time for the job and so on.
Any thoughts appreciated..
