Default Mapped ecu

Hi all, just wondering where the best place to buy a mapped ecu from is? Basically I've got a 2000 plate turbo 2000 and got all mods ready for a remap but I would rather buy a ready mapped ecu with the licence on so I don't have to pay 550-650 for a map, I would hopefully just be able to fit it to my car and pay for a map tweak. Mods I've got ready are decat exhaust, vf34 turbo, car has yellow 440s in already but might go 550 if I can find some, sti top mount, fuel pump and cosworth panel filter. Just need the ecu, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, I've seen a few about before for the classic when I had my bugeye for about £100 roughly but haven't seen any since. Thanks all

It will still need mapping, license is only £200 of it so unless you can pick up an ecu that you know is good for £100 or less hardly worth worry about and just get it done.

as above, mappers are now (in my experience) charging the licence map amount even if they have mapped that ecu before but on a different car so you wont realy save any money.

Youve been ripped off then mate, once the license has been paid that should be it, if they charge again then thats just plain and simply taking the p1ss, what mapper charged you the second license fee?

license is with the ecu, not the car, so shouldnt be the case, assuming it was mapped on ecutek and not open source of course.

He didn't charge me (said he would let me off this time) but it was Andy F, I bought an AlcaTek ecu already mapped by him from Scotland and he said due to a communication breakdown he wouldn't charge me this time but should have as it wasn't mapped in my car
