Tyre Dressing
I have tried a few dressings on the tyres but not come across anything that I'm happy with.
Any suggestions or recommendations please that you use & are satisfied with.

I use turtle wax wet and black, works fine for me (apart from sounding like a porno!) and lasts longer than the armour all foams I used to use.

What is it like for washing off if the weather is wet when driving?

I use autoglym tyre dressing.
It's amazing how many wash and wax their cars and then leave the tyres untreated. Detracts from the overall look

Lasts well, just have to remember to put it on sparingly, go too heavy and it flicks onto the wheel arches.
They do an aplicator which give a good even coating.

soap and water cleans the crud off the tyre and doesn't try to kill you if it gets on the contact area

Totally agree, it's like washing your hair letting it dry & going for a night out with no wax, gel or whatever people choose to use!

Tesco's tyre & bumper trim spray at a massive £2 a can. Always worked fine & lasts for a good few washes before it needs a re-apply!

I've been using MOTHERS NATURALLY BLACK Tyre Shine (£11 a bottle) last ages and even after washes on your car it looks like you've applied another coat they look spot on.
But last week as I could get hold of a bottle of MOTHERS NB, I've tried AngelWax Elixir
http://www.angelwax.co.uk/?wpsc-prod...erior-dressing
I must say, it's very good. Spray on a sponge and wipe over the tyre is all you need to do and my tyres look like new again.
I also bought AngelWax desirable wax.
+
Revolation - Fall Out remover (its like IronX)
It worth trying.
Oh I did win Show&Shine on Sunday at M-soc.com 10th anniversary event at Curborough, so the products can't be that bad

I use Simoniz Back to Black Tyre Shine which I find quite good, mostly as I get it in bulk from Costco..
At least I can apply liberally without feeling the pounds flying out when you spray it! Example of recent application here -

I use Mothers Naturally black put it on to a foam applicator and wipe on. Do all four wheels then go back round with a dry applicator this then leaves them looking nice and black but without the wet and greasy look.
I also find this way there's no Flick of the product up the side of the car.
If a customer wants the wet look I use Autoglym Vinyl and rubber cleaner applied the same way as above gives it a deep glossy look.

Are you guys mad, go and get some decent shoe polish, you can choose the colour, the finish and if you buy the good stuff it lasts along time. And while your there get one of those pad brush things what ever they are called to apply it.

Blackfire total eclipse gel, gives a long lasting lustre and you don’t get that annoying fling up the wheel arch.
