Default Sigma alarms

Is the Sigma alarm std issue on all Subarus from factory. If I don't start my car with in 10 seconds of unlocking my car door I have to lock it again while sat inside and start it again .Was there any extras with this alarm system like the window closure kit?

Once the alarm times out you can put the ignition key to ignition position, push the alarm button and it should give you another 10s, or until you turn ignition off. Can't remember.

Think you can also adjust the timeout to increase from 10s if wanted.

Newage you still put the key in the ignition if you don't start in time, and press the button on the key with the ignition turned to on, you don't have to lock/unlock the car. Oh and I'm sure it's 30 seconds.

Whilst we are talking about these, how do I lock the car with the windows open without the alarm going off?
