Which Tyres
Hi All,
I have a 2002 Bugeye running 340BHP... I have 9.75j wheels and am looking for some tyres, I'm after something that is awesome in the dry but wont kill me in the wet. I was going to go with 275/35/18 as I hate any sort of stretch on tyres and want something that looks similar to this fitment tyre wise maybe just ever so slightly lower profile... Unsure of which make tyres to get though?

another vote for the Vreds, great tyres in the wet and even better in the dry. seem to have a more bulging sidewall too when compared to my Falkens fitted previously.
Much prefer this look, not a fan of the stretched look.

Cheers Lads, sounds like the Vredestein ultrac sessantas are the tyres of choice for quite a few of you on here, will look into some prices...
Can anyone confirm 275's will be a good width to go for?

As a daily use tyre yes, but you aren't comapring like for like - the NS2Rs are a semi-slick track day tyre and are designed for dry/mildly damp track day use - the vreds are a road tyre designed to cope with all weathers (except maybe snow)

I'm fairly sure the NS-2R is a road legal track tyre, semi slick like the AD08, R888 etc.
Not comparable to the Vredestein ultrac sessanta in my eyes as its made for a different purpose, I think you'd be hard pushed to use the NS-2R across the weather/temperature range that Vreds work across as they are a road tyre and the Nankang's are road legal track tyres.
As also mentioned above

Oh thanks for clearing that up I was unaware that they were both of different variations, I only asked as the Nankangs were getting a good rep on here and other sites.
