Who are these people? They seem to be buying every Impreza up on the market. When I was originally looking for my first Subaru the main trade players appeared to be Auto Prestige in Bradford (yeah, I know) and Hurst.

Check the amount of Impreza stock... http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...westWithImages

I know one or two Scoobynet members have sold up to them. Their resale prices are truly shocking but I guess folks must be agreable to paying £10K upwards for 2003 models, yet alone 2005 widetracks.

They seem to be getting the odd nice example in, but I refuse to pay someone such a premium because theyve managed to buy it from a private seller quicker than I could.

I went there a couple of weeks ago to look at a wrx. There was about 10 scoobys in the garage. The owner said all but one of them where already sold or a deposit taken on them. He said people where putting deposits down on the cars before they'd even seen them and he couldn't get enough Impreza's to met demand. There where some very nice cars there to be fair, but they where pretty expensive.

Glad you mentioned that as was considering a visit to have a general look. Was set to buy a members on here then had to pull out due to work commitments (which annoyingly never lasted as once anticipated)

Sick of looking for a widetrack now, codename Eleanor

The owner has been quite vocal on some of the Facebook groups, a presence on those seems to be the way forward at the moment.

They haven't got a very good reputation on here.
Or so I was told.

Seems the only dealer that is well regarded is Hurst Cars.

On here you'll find a thread slagging anyone and everyone off.

The only dealer I could ever say with absolute certainty to steer clear of was Keighley Trade Centre, but they have changed to a different name and philosophy now.

Which groups? Perhaps I could post a wanted advert?

Oh god yes, I spent a day in Bradford when I was looking for an RB320. Visited Keighley too, it was a dirt track with a huge warehouse with a perimiter fence, had Lambos and various other exotics. It felt illegal even being there!
