Is £10,500 Resonable for my98
#1
Thinking about selling my98 and unsure what sort of price to put it in at.
Its got FSSH, 17" Gold 01 wheels with Potenza tyres. Decat exhaust which i may take off and sell with standard. No engine mods and in Red.
Milege, 51k.
Is this reasonable or over under priced.
Cheers

I have a '97 Sport and wouldn't sell it for anything less than 17 grand. However it does have an awful lot of mods on it and FSH!!!
Lucky for U my mate Ted 'Tinks' works for the Parkers Guide. He can give U a definite price on you're car. Charges about 150 pounds for a valuation. GIve us a shout if you're interested.

Parkers has it thus:
A1 condition - £9470
Good condition - £8970
Poor condition - £7575
Trade - £7895
You don't need to pay to get a valuation, mate. See www.autotrader.co.uk and click on the Parkers' website.

Glass's quote the following trade values for a '98 R (didn't know if yours was R or S):
Mileage 50000
Retail 12350
Excellent 10100
Average 9640
Poor 9380
I would have thought you could get somewhere between the 'Excellent' and 'Retail' prices.

Thanks for the replies. It is on an S plate (Oct 98). Will probably push my luck a bit with this and advertise in the trader for 11400ono and see what happens when I finally pluck up the courage to let it go.
