Scooby market slow ?
Hi all
Was just wondering if anyone else thinks the markets slow on scooby ATM .
As I see a lot of the same cars for sale from a couple of months ago I've put mine up this last week and I'm abit worried . But in the flip side my friend bought an s14 last month stuck it on the bay and he's making about 2k ?
Am I being paranoid?

Extremely slow - sick to death of waiting to find a widetrack blob of reasonable milage. I refuse to pay £10K to a garage.
I'm lucky enough to have owned a widetrack previously so don't have the temptation to pay over the odds like a first timer would.
Starting to consider other motors, perhaps scratch an itch on a 350Z, a good 2007 one can be had for widetrack money

Mint good cars will sell straight away, problem is there are a lot of **** out there, so its hard and frustrating trying to go through all the **** to find a gem!!
Subaru's like Spec C', JDM Twinscrolls, S202's and anything white etc etc will sell in days, trouble is if your trying to sell for example a high mileage UK STi blobeye in wr blue your going to pitch it against a million others the same, So unless its going to stand out from the others or be really cheap you can end up with it for sometime!
oHUTCHYo dont give up mate, the right one will be along shortly for you to enjoy for the summer months

I have owned my 2002 wrx bugeye for about a month now I had a 4k budget which I thought was reasonable ,I wanted a blob wrx in black , I had massive problems buying one first of all the prices seem to be all over the shop most people are massively over pricing them just because it's a subaru impreza not on condition , almost every dealer on auto trader is false advertising as I went to see many ,dealers trying to sell with bald tyres , saying tere mint only getting tere to realise ,I'm no tyre kicker it's a rusty heap of s,,t and because it has 50000 miles it's a good deal even though it has a dent in it
Trust it was the worst exp I had buying a car ,lol
Hardly any are standard most have been bodged I was lucky in the end
But yeah the ones that are on auto trader and eBay etc for time are most likely bags of poo

Agree on lying *** garages.
Biggest pet hate is identfying some bodywork issues and theyre like "oh its to be expected on a 9 year old car". Firstly; why is it? I've had plenty of minters bought from enthusiasts and likewise I cherish them just the same. Secondly, yes its 9 years old and yet youre still convinced a price of £11K is justifiable for a poor example?
Grrrr. Rant over.

To sell a car quickly it has to be cheap one of the cheapest around like 4 like or just be lucky . Otherwise like people say its a waiting game. If its not cheap people have lots to pick out . If its a bargain then people will notice and enquire no doughty

ive been looking for one for two weeks - looked at a lot of dogs ,, the nice ones that are priced right seem to fly off
I was checking for new listings constantly thanks to mob fone and Ipad etc so rang the seller of mine just ten mins after he listed it on autotrader - he was amazed he had a call so fast and I agreed to go straight up there - 2 hour drive - his fone was goin crazy he said and it didn't stop ringing all the time I was with him with ppl foning about the 300 ,,, needless to say I bought it after much haggling which isn't easy when someone has like 20 people to call back if you don't have it but it all worked out well as a nice pleasant cash transaction was had and everyone got what they wanted
