Im sure my front diff is wearing, but ti sounds more like heat shields rattling (it isnt) when throttling off rather than clicking

im no expert but sounds like it could be the front diff i know its hard to tell but does it sound like its coming from that area. bit dodgy but ive put mine on 4 axle stands before and run it get it all warmed up first so u dont have to do it for long and have a listen. when your rear diff went did the noise sound like it was coming from the rear. at least im not the only geek on scoobynet at this time of night

If this link don't work its probably because I am useless when it comes to computers.

If it don't work have a look on page 4 scoobynet-general and look for knock when lifting off. THIS IS A MUST VIEW

Mine was a loud clicking noise I put on a ramp and drove it and you could hear the rear diff clicking,I took the diff cover off and you could see one of the teeth starting to brake up,I think my middle diff is noisey now but this is a different noise not clicking more of a wine on accelerating hope this helps
