Default racecom ECUTEC

I have read that for the Hawk you can get ECUTEC which comes with racecom. It says it can be programed to do full throttle gear changes/can blip throttle and has launch control. It also says that you can have multi maps but what does this mean? Can you for example have one map for full bhp and one for daily drive mode(less bhp)?

I have racerom on mine
Yea as above , switchable maps via the heater control & ELM flashes on dash , I took the down shift auto blip off mine tho
The reason being , as a car been used around town & day to day life it can be quite a hindrance , given were your clutch bites , it can catch you out if not fully depressed quick enough causing the car to lurch forward momentarily .
For track, yes it's good & serves a purpose
regards

Depending in what the owner wants I tend to put throttle blip on one map and not the other.

Also a common option asked for is a lower boost map for daily as you suggest or pops and bangs on one map and not the other

Have it on mine , installed by Bob Rawle , autoblip on throttle on one map , flat foot and l/c switched off ,far to hard on the clutch and motor , one map on standard (300 bhp 305lb/ft) and high boost (350bhp 400lb/ft) forged motor in mine though , wouldnt like upping the boost on standard 2.5 ,
