I know the feeling, struggled to find one myself last year.
Took a couple of months to find a decent one, plenty of hawks but was put off by the 2.5l scare stories.
Eventually found one with mods already done and well worth the wait.

Thanks. I'll look. Want a blue one though. There are loads of saloons. We're not many wagons made?

There was at least two blue blobeye wagons on Ebay in the last week. Try modifying your search slightly. Not all sellers place thrm as estates for example.

There is a nice low milage black one on here with PPP it's got marmite wheel colour but that's easily sorted. I don't like wagons in blue and think black is the best colour for them.

I think your problem is being more concerned about the colour than the car, I once bought a car because it was the colour I wanted and it gave me nothing but trouble.

Thanks guys. I just didn't seem to be coming across any. I used to have a blue bugeye wagon and totally loved the colour. I'm in no rush for the perfect one. It's to be my toy.

That black one does look good I have to admit. Those wheels are nasty though!
