Default Value of calipers...

What are a pair of front 4 pot wrx calipers worth, they are the rarer flat ones off the later blob wrx and not the embossed ones and are fully working - complete with discs and pads that have loads of life in them.

When we buy them they are generally about £20 more than embossed ones , and thats only because they are newer and generally have less wrong with them , I wouldn't say they are worth more just because they have a sticker on them

Errrr it's not a for sale ad, if it was a for sale advert it would have a price and a picture(s) and it would be in the for sale section - after all, I'm a paid member and entitled to sell

I seen someone on here offering £120 for a knackered set of calipers only so I was thinking a good set has got to be worth £170 for the calipers and another £30-£50 for an almost new set of discs and pads? would I be far out on that estimate?

yes I seen those for sale , you can put whatever price you want on them , he will not sell knackered calipers for £120 lol

If you have good calipers discs and pads i'd say £150 - £200 depending on the discs and pads , I know they are copy calipers be we sell brand new 4 pots , kevlar pads and grooved discs for £299

I have about 5 pairs of the flat front calipers we use in circulation for recon exchange , and have paid between £80-£100 a pair for them , some of them didn't need rebuilding and could have been fitted straight onto a car

Dont get me wrong they prob are worth the high 100's mark if really mint and loads of disc/pad but in reality to get them sold usually means taking less, it seems to be the way these days

The guy selling knackered calipers for £120 was for the embossed ones , with the guy wanting flat front calipers and offering them for £120 delivered sounds about right as it would cost someone at least £20 to send calipers , we had a guy send in front and rear AP calipers yesterday for reconditioning , and sent them special delivery with the post and it cost him £40 to send them to us !

Just done a check and with interparcel economy (UPS) it's £11.99p with £100 compo.

I think I have a rough idea how much I want for them now, thanks for your help.

I paid £55 for a pair off eBay with seized pistons. They are with Godspeed to have a refurb and stainless pistons.

Flat face or not the pistons are prone to seize because they are steel, I think Ian from Godspeed is probably the font of knowledge on this one.
