Smile My 2009 Hatch STI

After a year with an E46 M3 i finally had to get back into a subaru! This time i have got a 2009 Sti in red which i absolutly love. The was completely standerd when i bought it also in amazing condition previous owner was a police officer so i know its been looked after!

So I thought id start a project thread for my car as i know they suffer from "chocolate piston and headgasket failure" and wanted to keep you all updated on my build.

After contacting numerous tuning companys and engine builders ive decided that im going to source the parts myself then get it built either by API, Powerstation or Mark at TDR.

This is my little list for now!

Pistons - Supertech
Rods - not sure what make yet
Headstuds - 11mm ARP
Headgasket - Cosworth
ACL Race bearings main and big

Ive just bought myself some Supertech Pistons and ARP Headstuds from America at a very good price. I used this company http://www.importimageracing.com very good to deal with and will sort you out a nice deal including postage!

Exterior.

First thing i bought for my car was a set of mudflaps from Performance Creations! Great Quality..

Im also planning to get..

Front Splitter
Alloys resprayed black
Front grill sprayed black
Slight window tints

This is all i have for the time being! Ill keep you updated with information and pictures.

Enjoy

About time you got a thread going mate

Be nice to see this come along will have to pop round soon and feel what it goes like

Think the red and black theme will look amazing, let us know when you having your windows tinted and see if we can get discount for them doing both cars

Can't go wrong with mark at tdr mate. He'll build to your spec, fit it, map it, the lot. Can't rate him highly enough
