Default Project "700"

Moving forward from my previous project..the car as it stands :

The aim of this project will be to further progress the car in to a 700hp daily driver, widen the power band and vastly improve spool.

The main change which will make most of the difference will be the AVCS heads and milder cams, all the engineering work and engine related works will be carried out by Neil at Pro engines Hatfield who built the previous motor.

The existing GT35R has just been converted To a "billet" by Lateral and is awaiting collection..

Pics to follow

Staying 2.1 and yes there is nitrous going in, I'm sticking with local mappers to keep costs down as I'm on a tight budget this time

To be honest I could have cracked 700hp as it is with some race fuel and bigger injectors but the power band is very narrow, I'm hoping to crack 700 with the aid of the billet wheel and Widen the power band and improve spool with The AVCS heads.

The current spec before I pulled it apart :

while the motor is stripped, you might want to swap the wiseco's for some better ones.mine was fine for 2 year on wiseco's at 650bhp.soon as it was pushed past 700 they didnt want to know.i have my old set of avcs heads down at enginetuner being fully refurbed, they have already been rick wood ported with cosworth oversized valves, springs and kelford cams fitted.they will be up for sale soon as there done.

Thanks I'm reusing the lateral H beam rods, I'm told they are good over a 1000hp, the lateral performance demo car uses them as well as several other big power cars on here 700hp+

I can't take credit for all the work on this one, it's been worked on by a fair few

I think I've got the same model as yours, hyper twin D-core? What's the solution? Triple plate or use a different brand twin plate?
