Hi and welcome, i would post the question in general as not so many views in here

Cheap usually means passable but it can be done, i know a couple in nottingham which is not that far, and you could get the train back to your area if you don't get any joy in your neck of the woods.

For a spray on the outside only would be around £1500 depending on the dents/rust to deal with.

No worries, from my experience which is quite a lot as I run a bodyshop you wouldn't get much above a bodge at that money tbho.
£600 just wouldn't allow enough time to prep it properly and make a good job.

What he said. It's going to cost £1000 upwards min to get a half decent job.

As above depends how bad the car is, the thing about bodywork is prep time,as the paint and materials are not relatively expensive, unless it's some really fancy paint with lots of coats required, i seem to remember 20 odd coats for some old jags and rollers, i suspect your just looking for a quick blow over to freshen it up as thats all you will get for £600 and you will be lucky if it lasts 2 winters before it bubbles up again.

As with most things you get what you pay for.
