Fancy swopping it for mine Stavros?
Looks like you need another challenge.

Very very good imho!

Love the 4 door to 2 to ease the wide body flares.

Hope you can get some vids of it in action, always very interesting to compare hillclimb cars (and events).
You cannot however get away with so little detail on here.
Full details required by us all!

Great!

Bought a smile to my face today!

Full details will be dificult Graham since there are so many parts on this car that they would make a long long list that will make you bored to read.

I just tell you that on this car there are ALL the available parts on the market for upgrading an Impreza. Just ask what I have not put on, not what I did put!!!

The only thing that is standard are the V5 STi camshafts and Intake manifold and that's because I could not find some decent aftermarket replacements.

That sounds good in the video, and sounds painful in the pocket!
Great to see the car.

Thanks mate!!

The good thing about the pocket is that I began to get some money back and this is due to the sponsors!
At the 1st race of the season we were 3rd over all with just 1.2 sec from 1st and 0.03!! from the 2nd. We hope that we can chase the championship and if we manage 1st I hope to get more sponsorships..

I admit to getting some sponsorship from 2 suppliers and some help from another 2, and about 2,00,000 emails of advice where i can do better!

Few realise the cost of doing it all in $ and time, AND making sure you have FUN too.
At time I find the last item hard to find!

Keep us all in touch with your progress please.

Graham.

Having fun is the ultimated goal.
I have fun building the car and more fun when compete with the car.
Imagine that this car is my hobby, myself and a friend ONLY built and tuned the whole car, the ONLY outside help where the guys who fabricated the wide body kit.
So you can see how many hours of hard work we put on this project. Money is an other big issue, I have spent a lot but not as much as the avarage racer will spent to have this car finished. I have never paid a penny for labour(since we do everything ouselves) and I import all the parts from Japan, Europe and USA myself since a couple of years ago I had a tuning shop and distributed parts all over Cyprus and Greece. Now I shut the shop but fortunately I kept my contacts for parts sourcing.

But I agree with you that you can spent a fotrune on a car like this but very few people can realise it.

That is a great 'ethic' to follow, and you both must have worked very hard.
We are spoilt here with so many good tuning shops and specialists, but so little time.

This is an awesome car and unfortunately for me i am in the same category.

I tried to compete against these guys last year, but soon found out that having a half way car i.e. still street driven against a full on race car just does not cut it.

Stavros

Hope to be ready for the July hillcmb and a litte bit closer in times. IF Pambos works a bit faster

Hi Paul,

I hope Goofy will manage to finish your car before the 17th of June so we have more competition...

By the way, Paul from Plastics 4 Performance told me that you are interested in windows, I bought mine from him and they are excellent quality. i can get you a quote if you want, I am his dealer for Cyprus and Greece. Give a call if you like.

We have the 'raod car' and 'race car' problem here in the UK too.
An Audi with twin turbos on a 4.2 litre V8 hollowed-out to say the least (behind each haedlamp is a turbo!) is blitzing the class where the rest of us are fully trimmed with lights etc, BUT the AUDI is fully legal to the regs for the Championships..

Having fun indeed!

Hi Adonis

I did get a quote as wanted to see if the budget stretched to cover this as well. But with PPG gearset, Custom Cages rollcage and a few other bits and pieces plus promised trip to Euro Disney in two weeks for the kids, I have to wait until end season and will order.

I will update my thread in projects with pictures next week. Not very good with these digital cameras. Goofy has done some work

BTW if you know anyone who wants my exsting Safety 21 bolt in rollcage I bought from you, let me know!!! Also have lots of other bits and pieces spare. If I sell might then have enough money to buy plastic windows now. Also will need to order suspension later in the year. Will use the Whiteline spring and damper setup for this year, so will still be a bit behind you

Will not be at June hilclimb as flying back from France at 4am. Will it be at Spilia? Might try and come up for a look around. Aiming for July when it wil be 40 degrees

Graham,

I am in the open category with Stavros (Adonis) which they throw all 'drag' cars i.e. not rally cars with certain restrictions. I think anything goes within FIA regs on rollcage and safety but no NOS

Yes Paul, the next race ia at Spilia.

Graham, I had the same problem as you last year trying to compete the 700hp Lancia and EVO6, but this year I am sure I can close the gap.
I have less horses but a better chassis and yet more drivable car than them, so I am confident I can catch them. We shall see....

It is a big step to take though to give chase, but:
