Default 2d00r 1.5

just bought a 2dr front wheel drive 1.5 impreza and am considering transferring all my running gear/engine from my wrx. has anybody done this and if so will the 1.5 floorpan accept the wrx running gear and does it need strengthening like seamwelding etc?? both cars are 96 and the wrx is 4door.surely i'm not the only person in the world to do this.
thanks for any help/advice.

I think you are the only person to do this!
If you have both cars in front of you and a tape measure then away you go.
At a guess you will have huge probs with this, especially the loom unless you change that over too!
Is it worth it?

clicky

Something similar being done here, but with a 4x4 as a base car, not 2wd.

Wouldn't it be easier to just put the 2 door shell onto your wrx or is it a bit more complicated than that?
