hi guys massive help needed here,
i have a old school Subaru impreza wrx...1993 and was looking to change the hole dash and center console to a later version to 1999 as the later models have a better looking dash and like how the gauges sit in the center ontop looks top notch.
now i know thay may look the same but are thay as i think this style of car Runs from 1993-2001 i think hope somone can anser, thanks people

 

No , they are not the same, the tabs the dash screws into below the windscreen are in a different position for the later dash
The Clocks are (mostly) Electronic speedos in the facelift and the older clocks are mechanicaly driven , the early clocks dont fit neatly into the facelift dash
There are also wiring differences with heater controls etc.
The Door cards are different between dashes too so would need changed
You may or may not have airbag issues to contend with too depending on year and model
