after writing my best mates scooby off ive had to buy the car from him in the state it is, all rear quarter and back damage.
the car is a 2000 subaru sti version 6 as standard, he has just spent a silly amount of money on it at the start of the year,here is the list.

i have a full reciept for the rebuild which still has a 10,000 mile or 12 month warranty (well 9 months warranty left now)
full forged engine rebuild incl
sti 9 crank
weisco forged pistons
weisco forged rods
uprated oil pump
race bearings
red top manifold
throttle body
list goes on totaling a bill of £4450, it is a complete engine bargain £1250

also in the same month the engine was built the 5 speed gearbox was reconditioned again i have receipt for this and again under warranty.£325

brand new asuka lightweight gun metal grey alloys and tyres £395 SOLD

type ra roof scoop ive been told these are very rare and expensive comes with all fixings £190

it had a garret turbo on he took that off as it was worth alot and adjusted the price for me.

It wont matter if its odb or cdb, as the car is a version 6 STI i would hazzard a guess at a phase 2 engine, and as those are odb I would go with that, though it makes no matter unless you want silly bhp anyway, its a bargain for that price if you ask me, best to see or hear it running

my pal said it is a closed deck block, i havent got a clue really on these engines hes told me to advertise it on here as i will get alot of interest and he seems to be rite.ive told him what price ive listed it for and apparently im stupid but i need to get my money back asap.
it was running 425bhp.
i have the paperwork and tried to post a pic of it but i cant work out how to so contacted the company who built the engine and they have emailed me the work done, ive copied and pasted it but the logo and graphics wont show just the writing. here it is

Its a v1/v2 engine as its a CDB with single coil packs,

I was very intrested but I don't think it will work with my ecu setup as I thought this was a sti 6 forged lump

any short block will fit your car, i assume seeing as its a STi 6 its in he would be using V2 heads!!

Engine would fit but I would have to do some messing about to use my coilpacks for my ecu to work. Or change the heads for mine which I don't see the point doing as its a good engine as it is.

So for that money I could forged my block.
