Selling for a friend this is a graphite grey 205 1.6 GTI MOT until September 2002, 1.9 GTI half leather interior, 1.9 GTI wheels, new exhaust, recently serviced and no sun roof. This would make someone a mint track car. The car is up for £600 O.V.N.O.

Does it do the stalling at traffic lights when warmed up thing that my old F reg 205 Gti used to do which caused it to be affectionately named "******* heap of ****"?
Funnily enough when I was getting some petrol the other day I was walking back to my car and saw a 205 Gti about to leave the exit of the petrol station but he had to wait as there were cars coming. Few seconds after he came to a halt the car stalled which bought the memories flooding back.

No thank you I have had more than my fair share of getting my hands dirty with cars. I can't even be bothered to change brake pads myself anymore.
Ah the joys of having the car on axle stands lying underneath it in the road while trying to change the starter motor when there is absolutely no room under the bonnet....

I don’t no some people, they get a nice car, pay to have minor jobs done, forgot your roots you have.

Dream Weaver please tell us were we can get 205 1.6 GTI's for £200 please as we would all like at least 1 each, they must all be the same spec as the one for sale here though. (LOL).

A couple of folk have asked about 205's in London. A work collegue is selling an E plate 205 1.6 gti; she's had it 7 years, reliable, taxed & mot'd, about 70K miles (dont know exact numbers but i can find out if anyones interested).
She's in Blackheath (SE London) and she's selling it coz she's just bought an alpha spider (so you better buy it quick before she realises she needs a second car to get her to the garage to see how the italian rust bucket is coming on
)

I think your price is bout right Darren, ive just sold a blck 205 GTi, 1 owner from new, all bills and receipts, G reg with 60,000 miles for £650, but i already had another car so it was in my way thats why it went cheap......good luck anyway
