Anyone remember this driver from the group B era. Unfortunately he died this week sged 43 from a heart attack. I like many others have fond memories of Mikael contesting the British and world championship rallies in his Peugeot 205 T16.

I do indeed remember the name.Am I right in thinking he rallied into the group A era as well?

Three losses from the rallying world in a couple of weeks.Sad times!

43 !!

Thats a bit scary. I remember him doing the BRC in a 205 T16, though I don't think he contested the whole series. I think I remember him crashing in the snow on the Welsh whilst leading by a good margin.
Didn't make him popular with Peugeot as I recall !

Didn't they say that there was nobody faster downhill than Sundstrom?

I remember watching him win the '86 Scottish Rally in the Group B 205. He disappeared from rallying at the end of the 80's.
Sad, a heart attack at only 43.
