Complete Decat 3" Hayward & Scott system
Hi All,
I just purchased https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...n-355-bhp.html and am changing the exhaust for a quieter one with high flow CAT.
Currently fitted is a 3 piece Decat 3" Hayward & Scott system.
1. 3” Decat down pipe
2. 3” Centre pipe with silencer
3. 3” Back Box – comes straight from the centre pipe and exits at a slight angle
Currently making 355 Bhp and I have receipts from Hayward & Scott from June 2006.
It can be picked up from Hereford at the weekends or Basingstoke during the week or possibly will meet some where on the M3 or M4 if it’s less than ½ hour from Basingstoke.
It’s currently fitted so you can have a listen. I’m just doing my research and getting everything else lined up.
Offers anyone?
Cheers,
Ian.

Hmm...I've a V3 wagon with a 2.5" magnex resonated centre and 2.5" H&S backbox and I'm after a 3" centre section and 3" backbox.
The 2.5" H&S backbox is probably one of the more subtle exhaust notes - still managed 326bhp with this exhaust though, car is more or less standard otherwise.
Bad news is I'm in Aberdeen.....any thoughts?

I’m talking a week or so before I change the exhaust as Hayward & Scott say they will take a week or so to make my new one (to my spec).

I'm back in Basingstoke Monday night for the rest of the week if it's closer to you.... or a courier of your choice can be arranged at cost (I'll use the same packaging as the new one I'm replacing it with so it should be safe).

OK then... I always find it tedious when people keep doing the YHPM thing when people ask for prices!
I’d like as much as possible as the new system is going to cost me almost £1100 (the high flow cat alone is £475 +VAT)!!!
Back in June 2006 this lot set the previous owner back £652.50 plus about £50 quid for the bung.... so that's £750 total.
If I can get anywhere near £500 for it I’d be happy.... any sensible offer considered.
It fits perfectly and has never grounded.
Remember it’s your last chance to hear it this weekend and also to see & feel what 355bhp is like with bung in & out.
