Do you seriously expect to sell your car for probably more than you paid for it with 15,500 miles on it?

I have a similar car (from Holland) and I'd be lucky to get £13k for it!

Try Autotrader. Cars don't seem to sell here I'm afraid.

Don't let this list go the same way as the Evo Forum.....

People should be free to advertise anything relevant in this area - at whatever price.

If anyone reading the ad wishes to comment it would be far better to comment by e-mail.... but doing it in public just annoys virtually all concerned!

Cool

I'd beg to differ as I have just sold my car via the BBS (thank you David).
I think maybe being realistic with pricing etc especially with imports will sell your car. Everyone on BBS knows imported cars cost thousands less than UK buyers paid, I think there has to be pay back sometime. The good old days of 97/98/99 have (unfortunately) long gone and most long term UK owners have been kicked quite hard with depreciation.
Don't take this wrongly I wish you every luck selling your car but selling your car for more than it cost (at least with Scoobies) is a bit "last century".

seve: I hope he sells his car which is why I advised him to try Autotrader. Dealer price for trade in would only be around £10.5k and Subaru dealers won't be interested. I'll post what I like within the terms and conditions of the bbs. If you don't like that, well sorry.

Cars priced realistically will sell here but £17k for a year old import is just bananas.

I agree entirely with kevin on this, and would respectfully offer £12k for the car! UK cars aren't going to sell for £17k...

my00 x reg uk car
ppp
prodrive suspension
17" alloys with p zeros
10 disc cd
colour coded skirts
prodrive rear spoiler
sold for 18k

sorry, but most offers i had were around the 15k-16k mark. the sh1thead dealer who sold me this car only offered 16k. i lost a fortune in 6 months. some berk of a dealer even tried an offer of 13k!!!!
these cars should not be this cheap, they are too good. BUT, as ive learnt to my cost, noone else thinks so. residuals are a disaster.
good luck with the car mate, but you wont get what your asking. i hope u do, i really do, but i doubt it. sorry i couldnt say anything positive, but i CAN speak from recent experience.

Just sold my UK MY00 11 months old 10,000 miles to a dealer for part exchange. Got £16,000 he told me to take all my extras off as I would get no more no matter what extras I had. Made a few grand on the extras.
