If it works on Orange and you'll take £250 for it then I'll have it. Jay 07970 989092

On contract its not available on Orange... But this phone is offline... as in sim free, which means you can use it on Orange... 121, Voda, Cellnet (o2) etc....
its not a contract phone, its an offline one!
so keep your mails coming! very rare phone and this one will hold its value.

I know what your saying mate, but just because its sim free it doesn't mean it will work on all networks ???
The Nokia 8890 won't work on Orange for instance, you have to use the 8850.
Something to do with the frequencies it operates at.

Go through the specification
And you'll see it's compatible with "EGSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 900/1800 dual-band networks in Europe, Africa and Asia. Automatic switching between bands"
Basically it will work with all the UK networks, but will not work in the US.

If the phone is Tri-band as STi7 states it should work in the US no probs. Ut will also work on all UK networks with no probs. Just wish I had £420 knocking around. Are you up for a trade-in? Mail me offline- I'm not too far away from you STi.
Cheers,
simon
