***2004 MK5 VW GOLF 1.6FSI**LOW MILES**ECONOMICAL**RELIABLE
Hi and welcome to the sale of my 2004 VW golf 1.6FSI. I have not had the car long as I took it in as a px against my Subaru however I am happy to vouch for it as it has been nothing but reliable, comfortable and very economical!
I drove this car on a 240 miles round trip journey and it never missed a beat, it also only took £35 petrol for this entire journey. Being a 1.6 with a 6 speed box you can let it sit at 70-80mph in sixth gear and it will just keep going.
The car has all old mot’s and the service booklet is fully stamped mostly by VW dealership or a vw specialist. I had the car serviced yesterday 14/11/2012 with new oil, plugs, anti freeze and ait filter with receipt and book stamp.
Being a FSI model the car comes fully equipped with:
Power steering
Electric Windows
Keyless Entry
Heated side view Mirrors
CD Player
6 Speed Gearbox
Xenon lights
….so much more.
The last mot the car was treated to a new tyre, ball joint and a lambda sensor…with ALL receipts from VW dealership. This car has needed for nothing. Full HPI clear
MOT: JUNE 2013
TAX: DEC 2012….THIS IS CHEAP, ONLY £90 FOR 6 MONTHS OR £170 FOR THE YEAR.
Car comes with full service history, old mot’s owners booklets, 2 set of keys…spare tyre which has never been used!
Faults:
Being honest there is a scruff on the passenger side wheel arch which has not concerned me but can be fixed for £120…apart from this the car is in very good condition.
These cars are very hard to find in this condition with such low miles, Auto Trader has 2 Mk5 Golfs with over 125k miles and have been damaged repaired and this one has not with 104k miles for £3000. This is cheap motoring for many many years.
