Question

do you play golf?
do you have a club handicap, what is it?

Could the SIDC do a golf day maybe next year?

this is only to see what response there is, to test the water!

I'm off 13Hcp and play at
Mapperley G.C. Nottm

ok, i have asked at my club (Mapperley G C Nottingham) about doin' a golf society!

anyone seriously interested in attending
E-MAIL ME!

I'M THINKING OF THE END OF OCTOBER, MAYBE A THURSDAY!?!?

I can get a good deal for the round of golf
£50 per 4 (£12.50 each) 18holes!
I will find out what they can do in the way of meals at a good price!

So would £20-25 BE A FAIR PRICE FOR A ROUND OF GOLF, FOOD AND INCLUDING THE MONEY FOR SOME PRIZES?????????????

e-mail me if you would be avaliable to play,
in the week?

it is open to male and female, and would be a Stableford play format with a hcp limit and 3/4 off?!!!!!!

I'm willin'to sort it all out if there are enough who could come to NOTTINGHAM to play!!

I play and would be interested.

Don't have a club handicap yet, but my "unofficial" society handicap is 24 at the moment cos I have only played twice a year for the past few years, if I actually play a few times together I can play off a bit less (record score is 82 on par 70 when I was playing a lot and could putt), so I probably wouldn't disgrace you!

Now I am officially old free and ugly my plans are:

lots of scooby track days

lots of golf

find a hobby girls like too!

Cheers

Simon

PS Only a month till a golf week in Spain

I'll have a bit of that. My club handicap is 14.

I might even have got around to sorting my SIDC membership out by then!

sounds as if your a bit of a pro! or just a bandit!!!!!!!!

my claim to fame is seeing Lee Westwood (when he was 15) come to our club with the Notts country Jnr team to play againt our junior side (i was in it) nd he drove our 1st green with a 3-iron some 400yrds! he was off about 1hcp then!
it all paid off 4 him.

Talking

If anything gets arranged I'll drive almost anywhere for a game of golf. Currently playing badly but will admit to 18 when playing on a corporate day. Played 'Happy Valley' on Friday with some clients, not bad course came back in 39

Here's hoping

I am crap at golf, but do love a game. My handicap is my swing. Ther is not a cat in hells chance of me stringing two decent shots together.
Average around 30-40 over and lose about 15 ***** on 18 holes.
Claim to fame is a birdie on the 16th at Penina. 40yard tee shot (most of them are like that) followed by a 110yard 9-iron straight into the cup.
So, if you can put up with it...

I would be up for it, depending on location.

Currently playing off 16 but really badly at that.
