The time has come to sell my partners beloved 4MO shes owned it for coming upto 21 months its been serviced twice once at Richard Henry Motorsport and once by our friend whos a VW specialist (from E38). We bought it with 71k on the clock and its only just gone 85k. Its my partners car and has never been driven hard (EVER). It has been ultra reliable all the time we have owned it. It`s in cracking condition to say its nearly 10yrs old inside and out. We have never had any issues at all mechanically just the normal wear and tear, parts we have replaced are listed below.

Reason for sale is we have just had our 2nd child.

Front and rear disc / Mintex pads

X 2 Front Monroe Gas sports shockers
X 2 Front wish bone arms
X 2 Top shocker mounts
X 2 Anti-roll bar bushes

Spent over £800 over last 6 months or so on the above

THE CAR NOW HAS 12 MONTH MOT, PASSED STRAIGHT THROUGH. NOT 1 PROB AT ALL !!![/B][/B]
I know its MOT is only short but the car has only ever failed 1 MOT in 10 years down to tyre wear.

Its a minter it honestly is if I had the brass I`d super charge it and keep it as I love driving it. The 4motion 4wd is excellent, it`s real smooth and pulls in every gear loads of torque low end. It`s fully loaded with every extra possible apart from leather it will be ashame to see her go.

The only thing thats been changed mod wise is a K&N 57i induction kit as I was advised to change this to help with air intake due to restrictive standard airbox. I still have old one if you want it.

I`m seriously thinking of selling my Scoob for it and super charging it they can see up to 500 bhp easy but at a cost.......

 

Hmmmm I am now watching thread just in case it sells.............if it's still for sale next month, and if I can get some money together I'd certainly be interested in this.......

Morning, Had a couple come over to look at it yesterday they came in a 1.2 corsa mid 20`s id say they had proof of ins so they could drive it so after looking around and checking everything I let them both have a tickle the bloke had a go 1st and really liked it he drove it very smoothly and seemed to enjoy it and thought we`d sold it as he was very positive about it. Then his misses have a go..... dear me I wish Id never done that she must of only driven 500 yards she stalled it about 10 times then when she did get it moving she said she was scared of it and started to cry....... I drove it back the guy apololgised and said he`d be intouch. He later called me and said that he really liked it bit his partner had only ever driven a 1.2 and didnt like how it felt so no sale.

Next customer please.
