Default Diesel Remap?

Guys i know its been awhile since i was on here, but no longer have the scooby and now having a Audi A4, needed a diesel car, yes its boring not as fun and quick as the scooby, was wondering if others who've got diesels have had their cars remapped? by who? who would you recommend in the London area?

regards

VJ

Not used them myself but http://www.e-maps.co.uk/ gets mentioned a fair bit on BMW forums. They do Audis too.

There's always Revvo as well. Not used them but a mate has and the car hasn't exploded yet (he did change clutch though)

Good to hear from a satisfied customer, tempted to get my 535d done at some point. I take it you're pleased with the results? I'm guessing mine should be much the same as it's the same engine just in a heavier car.

I have a bluefin map on my 535d. the advantage being that you install the map (they provide a custom map after you send them your current ecu map via the ODB tool they supply) via the supplied ODB programmer. Great thing is when you sell the car you can revert it to standard yourself with the ODB programmer. If you sell your current mapped car within a year you can get a new map for your new car for free. I did this myself after selling my 730D after 6 months to buy the 535D. There are many choices.

Revo do similar with their SPS handset. You can have several maps on one unit including a security one that allows a crook to start your car but as they try to drive off it cuts out.

I had a bluefin on a Mondeo St diesel from new until 135k miles without a problem.
Car ran much better and was much more economical as well.

Sorry for the delay in replying...I'm really happy with the results.Coming from a scooby and the amount of money that I spent in modifications to get extra horses in comparison is amazing!
Don't think twice about it,you'll see just how awesome a car they can be

Had my Leon mapped the torque steer and wheel spin was crazy and it kept in blowing intercooler pipes off had the map removed
But the power difference was good.
