Ok, so my friends have just put in an order for a new 2014 model Volvo xc60.
It's the D4 AWD 2.4l with 163ps, which in reality is the same engine as the D5 2.4l which returns 215ps.
As they can not have a remap until the warranty has ended the dealer (on the side) suggested they a "chip" which would be removed before servicing.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Well they are rebranding the engines soon because they are getting rid off all the 5 cylinder engines completely and I wouldnt be surprised if they bring the upgrade out because they did this with the 2013 model year
