Default Caddy or transporter

Im looking to buy either a nice vw caddy or transporter. Does anyone on here own a transporter what kind of MPG are you getting? Im in favour of the caddy as I hear these get 50 plus MPG but would need a rear seat conversion done as they only have two seats as standard. Anyone own these two vans if so what do you think of them??

Have a late 2012 1.6 caddy maxi bluemotion for work. Think its about 96bhp or something can be nippy when it wants too.

Average around 550 miles to a tank (£80) most ive seen is 700 using cruise at 80mph

Normally quite loaded up aswell. Comfyish (passenger seat isnt), good sound system for a van. A common problem is injector seals/rocker gasket. Mine went in at 23k. And now clutch has developed a nasty squeek on hard acceleration at 42k

About as much as I can say (its a work van and is treated as such)
