Default New toy ideas?

Alright Chaps,

Was after some ideas for some toy cars this year.

Ideally something that's quick, fun. Something i can beat for a few months, couple trackdays and sell without loosing too much.

Max budget 4-5k.

Was thinking something like s2000 or integra, possibly 206 gti or supra?

Any ideas?

You'd get a very nice and fast MR2 turbo for that! If you get a Rev3+ it doesn't take must to get it to 300hp

How about an Rx8?

They can be got for about 2k. 230 bhp and can be stripped down to about 1200kg.

Could be a bargin toy for 2k. Engine rebuild is about600 for parts i believe.

went for an rx8. 1 trackday so far and it was fun. no power or torque compared to M3 but it was fun

Not sure its got the power to oversteer but it steps out ok when chucking it with a bootfull.

will be good car to learn how to drive better

For that age/price it has to be an Intgra or S2000. S2000 being an open top has to edge it for me with summer coming up.

Forget the 206GTI for a start. Was the car that started the rot for Peugeot.

I think he bought an RX8?!

My money would go on a 328i (E36), an MR2 mk3 or a mint ITR.

Had E36 Before, MR2 doesnt float my boat, ITR not rwd (have a ctr currently also).

Not sure on the plans for the rx8 at the moment. initially bought it to go racing, however now undecided. Will do a few trackdays and see how i get on.

Speaking to marshal at Bedford the other day, so far this year they have already had 8 Rx8 trailered home! Need to keep an eye on the oil!

If you really want toy cars, then you should consult the RC's forum. They have a wide range of it, and not the normal one but excellent. I personally consult this because some of them are which can play the elder's one.
