Default Worst modern car?

It has to be my courtesy car while the BM is being fixed and tidied up. Chevrolet Aveo. Utterly terrible and can hardly even get up a proper hill. Can't wait to give it back!

I'd like to nominate the ugly, uncomfortable, wheezy Mitsubishi Lancer estate I was given whilst my L200 was being serviced.

To say my L200 is far more beautiful and feels like a supercar compared to the Lancer is an understatement, and shows just how bad the Lancer is!!

It's a Chevrolet isn't it? I had a Chevrolet Captiva LTZ for a couple of weeks last month. It was quite good apart from the fuel economy.

Worst I had was a Suzuki Wagon R. It was embarrassing.

Lancia Ypsilon hire car in Italy (it was cheap)

Less than 10k on the clock, water leaking into passenger footwell, and for several days of the hire the instrumentation died completely. Couldn't be arsed to get it fixed though

Also dreadfully slow and didn't handle well.

DJ; Oops, you are right!! Edited!

Zip; the can also felt like a rocket compared to this PoS. it's not even all that good on fuel! I'm going to do a timed 0-60 in it. I'm betting well over 20s.

I had a Chevrolet something micra sized when my Civic Type R was in the bodyshop. First day I had it on 2 wheels going around a roundabout near work and I wasn’t even going remotely fast. It makes your realise that you take for granted how good even an average car like a Honda is compared to the budget crap.

Reminds me when I test drove a nearly new 106 about 10 years ago. The brakes were so poor with just two of us in the car that I overshot a junction.

In comparison we had the first shape KA as a courtesy car once and that was so low and wheels so wide it was like driving a go kart. I had so much fun going around a large roundabout over the A14 at night that I must have done 10+ circuits lol.

Some of you may find this amusing.
Tragic attempt at videoing the raw power of the Aveo...

From a junction (hence the steering) and I like the V8 comment from the back that my little boy made...

Okay it won't upload. Next time!

We nearly had an Aveo as a hire car when I went to Florida in the summer. Luckily I decided last minute to get a Mustang convertible... but that was still pretty horrible!

I drove a Fiat Doblo last weekend. The less said about it, the better. Took me five minutes to find the switch for the electric windows
