Lovely car,mk1 Escort was my 1st car, imported from Ireland, came on an N reg plate which was unusual. It had rear doors welded over and filled and arched,3.0litre capri suspension, fully hinged front end with angle iron strut brace,spoiler...jacking up kit on back, steel wheels with 2 part hubcaps and rims.Engine was ahem 1.1litre crossflow...top speed downhill 80mph.The floor fell out...as they did. 70s Fords are so cool .luv em
