Due to an oil failure my daughter needs to find a replacement engine for her 2005 Mazda 6 (TS and 2.3 I believe). Her garage have had no luck so apart from using google and trusting to luck what are the best options ?
I/she have no experience of breakers or their reliability, ebay seems a minefield so some pointers as to where to start to look would be appreciated as google seems the only option. She is in the East Midlands if that makes any difference.

Any help, advice appreciated.

apparantly the mazda 3/6 are the same engines.
