Puma 1.7 or Feista Zetec-S MK5
Hi people,*
after some opinions, I have a Puma 1.7 runabout nothing special just a standard car and its great, nippy, looks ok, reliable but I've been offered a straight swap on Zetec-s, again good nick.
Both are nearly the same age and milage. What do you think?

Zetec-S all the way mate!
A friend of mine was involved with an RTA with a Puma and the front end damage was terrifying! cousin had a Zetec-S also involved in an accident and it came out a lot prettier. Plus it looks much sweeter!

I've owned both.....a good decade ago mind. From what i remember both are good handling cars but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have changed the puma for a fiesta zetec-s. I have a feeling the puma is faster in a straight line and the 1.7 engine has a more free-revving nature than the 1.6 in the zetec-s.
One accident result says nothing about the safety of a car, too many variables to each individual accident to draw a conclusion from. I would have thought they were fairly similar.
IMO I'd stick with what you have got!
