Default Help with new car choice

I have had my Focus ST for 18 months now, which for me is quite an achievement and while it has been great, I am itching for a change.

My wife has a Golf TDI which we use at weekends, and most of the time, it will be just me, or me and my son in the car during the week.

Have looked at the 350Z and while I loved it, Im a bit concerned with lack of rear seats which I just know will ultimately irritate me. However, I loved the rawness of the car and its stealthy unassuming presence.

I am basically looking to spend up to about £10,000 including the £5000 ish I get for my Focus, and want something petrol driven, not 4x4, with character and personality, and reasonably quick.

I have had an Audi TT, Civic Type R (EP3 shape), and while I enjoyed both, I cant afford a decent new shape TT and I am a bit uncertain on the newer shape Type R.

Any suggestions?

The 350z seems a fair choice and natural progression.

A few options here:

Leon Cupra

Variation on FST - VT5

VXR

TTT

One of a few AR brera

TTV6

335i comfort spec

Nice 350z

Monaro

Brera is one of the most beautiful modern cars there is. Awesome and different.

I'd personally wait however many years it required for a mint GT35r single turbo RX7 to pop up on the market.

However, failing that I'd be seriously tempted by a Monaro or possibly a return to an S2000. You'd maybe find a supercharged one for that money if you are lucky?
