Talking Indigo-GT Time Attack Evolution 8

I know, I know it's an Evo! As a Scooby owner myself, it pains me to say it, but this one is pretty damn awesome lol

This car came to us a completely standard Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 260, now it's a fully fledged 550bhp Time Attack car.

The engine was built completely in house by us and as you can imagine has taken quite a beating this year and is still holding strong!

We overhauled the engine using Cosworth Pistons, Oiliver Rods, Kelford 280 Cams, a Custom 2.2 Crank, JMF Manifold and a GT35 Turbo.

We used a KW suspension system installed and setup by us which has proved to be extremely capable around the track.

We installed a Pace dry sump oil kit to ensure there were no starvation problems and cut alot of wait out of the car before installing the roll cage.

The end result, one very happy customer! We've been support Marc throughout his time attack sessions this year, I've included a number of pics below from Brands Hatch

Enjoy!

I love 260 conversions why start with a 260 though rather than, say, a 340 / 360?

Ahaa. I saw this at rockingham the other week. Didnt manage to be out on track at the same time, but that orange 780bhp evo was rather rapid. And the ginetta

Nice to put some details to the car!

Hopefully on the cards for next year is the Varis Evo Time Attack Kit as we're now the exclusive UK Varis distributor, not only does it look great, as with all Varis kit's it's aerodynamically functional!
